Meetings:
We meet each month of the year. During the
months from October to May we alternate between Hudson Bay, Melfort, Nipawin &
Tisdale. During the months from June to Sept. we have our meeting held in
conjunction with a camp out or activity of that month.
Activities:
During the colder winter season our get
togethers are the meetings when we usually have a short meeting followed
by celebrating that months members birthdays & anniversaries with cake &
coffee. This time is also spent with indoor games or card games. We love
to eat so we have many potlucks or we may go out for a nice meal together.
In the warm summer months we plan scheduled
camp outs together usually at our closer to home Regional Parks.
Other activities include: - Survivor
Registration for our "Relay for Life" held each June in North East Sask.
- Our
Chapter does the registration for the Prov. Good Sam Samboree each year in
June.
This year we were fortunate to be able to make
a donation to Pasquia Regional Park. This helped them with the
construction of new camp sites & tree planting.
We always welcome new members to our chapter.
